Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Ressolv Studio handles personal data when you visit ressolv.com.br, use the contact form or talk to us by email or WhatsApp, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).

1. Who the controller is

The data controller is RESSOLV CONSULTORIA EM TI LTDA, trading as Ressolv Studio, a software house from Brasília, DF, Brazil.

  • Legal name: RESSOLV CONSULTORIA EM TI LTDA
  • CNPJ (company registration): 69.580.352/0001-60
  • Registered office: R. Visconde do Rio Branco, 1488, conjunto 909, 9º andar, Cond. Universe Life Square, Curitiba, PR, Brazil
  • Data protection officer (DPO): Patrick Anderson (managing partner)
  • Privacy contact: contato@ressolv.com.br

2. What data we handle and why

We only handle the data you send us when you get in touch, plus the minimum technical data the site needs to work:

  • Contact form: name, email and the message you write. We use them to reply to your request and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. The form sends this data by email to our inbox; the site does not store it in a database.
  • Email: if you write to contato@ressolv.com.br, we receive your address, your name and the content of the message, for the same purpose.
  • WhatsApp: the WhatsApp button and links open a chat with our WhatsApp Business number (+55 61 99129-3839). In that chat we receive your phone number, your profile name and photo (depending on your WhatsApp settings) and the messages and files you send. We use them to answer you, run quotes and projects and provide support. Some messages arrive with a source code in brackets (for example [ref:…]) that tells us which page or post you came from; it is used only to learn which channels work.
  • Technical access data: as on any website, the host logs the IP address, browser, requested page and date and time of each visit, to serve pages, keep the site secure and comply with Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014).
  • Language: to open the site in your language, we use your browser language and the approximate country of your connection, provided by the host. This is decided at request time and not stored by us.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for third-party advertising and do not send promotional messages unless you ask for them or consent.

4. Cookies and local storage

The site uses only two items, both necessary and neither holding personal data:

  • "lang" cookie (necessary, 1 year): remembers the language you picked in the language switcher. It is only set when you switch languages.
  • "ressolv-consent" local storage (necessary): stores your choices in the cookie notice and when you made them, so the notice does not reappear on every page. It stays in your browser until you clear the site's data.

The cookie notice offers "Functional" and "Analytics" categories, but today the site uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tool: no cookie in those categories is set, even if you click "Accept all". If that changes, the tool will only run with your consent and this policy will be updated first. The site's fonts and images are served from its own domain.

You can review or withdraw your choices at any time:

5. Who we share data with

Your data only passes through the providers the site and our replies need, which process it on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • Vercel Inc. (site hosting and access logs), in the United States.
  • Our email provider, which receives and stores messages sent through the form and to contato@ressolv.com.br.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), which runs the chat. What WhatsApp itself does with your data is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
  • Public authorities, when required by law or court order.

Some of these providers process data outside Brazil. These international transfers follow LGPD art. 33, for example through contractual clauses and safeguards offered by the providers.

6. How long we keep data

  • Contact messages (form, email and WhatsApp): for as long as needed to reply and continue the conversation. If the contact does not become a project, we delete it within 24 months of the last message.
  • Data of clients with a contracted project: for the length of the contract and for the period required by legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • Access logs: for the period required by Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (6 months), kept by the host.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may ask at any time for:

  • confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
  • correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed unlawfully;
  • portability of your data to another provider;
  • deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
  • information about who we share your data with;
  • information about the option of not consenting and its consequences;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • objection to processing carried out without consent, where it breaches the law.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@ressolv.com.br with the subject "Privacy". We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 15 days. You can also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD): gov.br/anpd.

8. How to ask for your data to be deleted

To delete the data from a WhatsApp chat, an email or the form, ask at contato@ressolv.com.br or in the WhatsApp chat itself (+55 61 99129-3839). We delete the history from our tools and confirm in writing, except what we must keep by law (for example, tax records of a contracted project). The chat on your own device you delete in WhatsApp.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, contact messages are kept in password-protected accounts and access is limited to the people who need them to help you. No system is infallible; if a security incident could bring you relevant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD, as the LGPD requires.

10. External links and minors

Case studies link to client websites, and the footer links to GitHub and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own policies, which we do not control. The site is aimed at companies and professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the way we work changes. The update date is shown at the top of this page; relevant changes will also be announced on the site.
